Milos is one of the jewels of Greece created from the lava of volcano millions of years ago. A fascinating island with warm springs, unique sandy beaches and white villages sitting on top of colorful rocks.
On the north side of the island, you will find Plaka, the capital of the island. The beautiful settlement has an attractive atmosphere with traditional whitewashed houses, flowery courtyards and labyrinthine alleys. The highest spot of the island, known as Castle, distinguishes for its medieval architecture with stone houses, cobblestone paths and lovely house yards.
In the Archeological Museum you will find a replica of the Statue of Afrodite of Milos and many original ceramics and relics found through the centuries on the island.
Do not miss the Catacombs of Milos that constitute the most ancient monument of Christianity located close to the village of Tripiti and the natural monument of Sarakiniko, from where you can admire the full moon as the whitewashed rocks reflect the dazzling light creating an unforgettable landscape.
The village of Klima, is one of the most charming villages of Milos located on the north side of the island. Here one can admire one of the most beautiful sunsets of the island!
